New work and prints on the way!

After a quiet period over the last month or so, i have some new prints on the way within the next couple of weeks, hopefully followed up with more quickly soon after. Its going to be a summer of large prints! and possibly a third return from the 'sisters'....
Amongst the designs I have been working up I was also lucky enough to be interviewed by the lovely Sophie Eggleton for a segment on the Sleeve for their 3rd show, you can check it out here, if you want to skip to me, ignore the fellow named Zane Lowe and you can find my section at 10:20..! Its probably the most extensively i have been interviewed about my work before, so take a look!

Sisters 2! new print set!

So its time for my first new print release of the year! Its been a little longer coming than originally anticipated, but they are finally ready and here! The new set is a continuation of the first series, and features 3 prints, Lachesis, Clotho, and Atropos.
You can find the print set right here in the store, and there is a limited quantity of the first set available along with sisters 2 in a combo set which you can find here! Check out the photos below, and keep your eyes peeled for a big portfolio update later this week!

Just in time for christmas I am happy to announce three new prints, the 'Sisters' series, Decima, Nona & Morta. The three prints are A3, high quality digital prints on 300 gsm recycled card, each stamped, signed and numbered, the edition all three prints are 33, and all orders also come with 38mm badges! You can purchase any of the 3 seperately for £20 or alternatively all 3 in the set for £45.
Along with this I now have a mini print set available in store featuring 'The Heretic' which was previously featured on a line of tees. The set consists of all 8 designs and is available for just £10!
On top of all this I have added a 15% discount code just in time for christmas that can be used on all orders in the store, simply enter the code 'MUMFMAS' during the checkout process!

Studies III (and more) now in store!

I am happy to announce today the release of my new print series, Studies III! This set is slightly different from the past two sets of studies as it comprises of more than just a 4 print set this time. To begin there is the set of 4 black and white prints like the past two Studies sets, theres also an alternate coloured edition, and two of the prints also available in larger A2 sizes as limited edition giclees. At a later date the remaining two prints from the coloured edition will also be available in A2, so keep an eye out for that too. You can find everything in the store right here.
Its been a long time coming and this has been something i've been working away on for the past 3 months or so, i'll be going more in depth in the coming week in a new blog detailing the process a bit more, but for now you can check out the new prints here in the store and see some shots and details below!

The Dead Sea Mob is Dead!

It’s probably fairly obvious now after nearly six months of inactivity, but the Dead Sea Mob is dead! First and foremost we want to say thank you to all involved with the Mob’s activities, much of what was achieved would not have been possible without you. From the guest artists, to the wonderful guys at Parliament of Feathers for all their screen-printing services, and Posca for supplying us with many, many pens! We did some fantastic shows and got to support some amazing causes like Sea Shepherd. We hope that our paths will cross again soon. Thanks to everyone who supported us during The Mob’s brief voyage.
Secondly we would like to say that The Mob came to a natural end due to individual artist’s commitments, and that we will all continue to work together on future projects! If anyone has any orders placed from the DSM store that were not fulfilled, please email us directly as opposed to through any DSM social sites or email. Unfortunately, due to the DSM not being an artist run collective, we have now been locked out of all of these and are unable to respond through these means. We will try and help resolve any issues ourselves if you need to contact us!
Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who supported The DSM along the way. We hope to see you all soon!

Following on from last months set Studies I, i have just put up the next set in the store now, creatively titled Studies II. Continuing where the last set left off, this is again me continuing to experiment and indulge my love of detail.

I have just put up the first set in a series of prints i will be releasing over the next few months called 'Studies I'. This set consists of 4 images, part of a series created in the past few months when i was taking some time out from freelance work after i broke my collarbone. As the name suggests they weren't necessarily for any purpose at first, but the more i worked on the pieces the more i liked where they were going. Hence the release of this pack of 4!

New Designers 2012

Little bit late notice this, but tomorrow on Saturday the 7th i will taking part in a discussion about Illustration and making it in the 'business' and so forth at New Designers 2012 alongside Digital Arts magazine. The other talkers include Gemma Correll and Sneaky Racoon, should be good, so if you are at New Designers come along!
What else is new? Well, the last month has consisted of mainly sitting at home and watching TV. The metal plate i had put in my shoulder in January finally came out a few weeks ago, meaning i had to take some good time out to recuperate. But i am back up and running at full force now, and hopefully thats the last of the stalls to my year..i can finally get on with things properly for 2012, only 7 months late!
I have some pretty nice new drawings that may see the daylight soon as prints, so keep an eye out for that too!
I'm doing stuff!

I'm pretty busy right now wrapped up in some new things, taken quite a bit of time off from clients for a bit. However i will still have some lovely jobs to work on in the next few months as well as showing a few new things i have been working on personally! So keep your eyeballs peeled.
